Windsurfing is Maui Malone's #1 passion. The conditions on the island are what took him there, as it has countless others. Every windsurfer dreams of Maui, and some even get to enjoy it's perfection.... Now I find myself living back on the mainland, dealing with the conditions that most windsurfers face. Sure there are the great days that come around now and then, but for the most part, the wind is not as strong and the waves when they come have a lot less size.
What I have discovered is that in order to feel the same sensations out on the water, I have had to adjust my equipment to the conditions. This means going big or going home!
